Battlefield coins disappeared

Hi,

I just bought 5 jumps and 1 tier jump to try and complete the battle pass, but I've unfortunately just realized that it doesn't work for the end, which is the "prestige" section.

So, it was a useless purchase on my part, but that's my fault. However, I don't understand why the Battlefield Coins used to buy the tiers haven't been refunded since they were completely useless.

I am not asking for a refund for the purchase of the BFCs but at least to have them returned to me so that I can buy something else, otherwise I feel like I have thrown money away.

  • Hi, sorry to hear you ran into this.

    Tier Skips can stack, so you’ll be able to use them in future seasons. If your Tier Skips can’t be applied right away, they’ll be held for you and then applied to the next eligible progression path based on the schedule. For example, if the next eligible path is a Bonus Path, they’ll apply there. If it’s the next season, they’ll apply to that instead.

    On the other hand, if you’d like to request a refund, the best next step would be to contact our Support team.

If your Tier Skips can’t be applied right away, they’ll be held for you and then applied to the next eligible progression path based on the schedule.     I tried contacting Steam, but since it's bonus content that was purchased from your store, they told me to contact your support.

    It's really inconvenient for me that this will be deducted from the next battle pass.

    I originally bought it to complete the current season's battle pass and have enough points to buy the next one. As a result, I don't have enough points and I won't be able to buy it. I'm really stuck.

    Gotcha. In that case, I’m afraid this would need to be handled through our support team, who can check whether it may be possible to refund the points.

    I tried contacting support, but I can't create a ticket because it says I'm not eligible for any refunds.

    I don't want to push my luck, but could you please pass this along? I have no other options, and you're the only one who can help.

    Hello, I have the same problem and am currently in a chat with a support advisor who is telling me no refund is possible. I don't understand how it was even possible to buy the skips if they do not work? The whole point was finsihing the BP to have enough coins for the next one. Now I have no coins and no BP and they tell me no refund either.

    Sorry to hear that. If that’s the case, the tier skips should automatically be applied to the Season 3 path instead.

    I’ll also be honest that I’m aware of feedback saying the clarification that tier skips do not apply to the Prestige section hasn't been clear enough, and that this has led to mistaken purchases. I’ll pass that along to the studio again and see whether they share any updated guidance.

    Thank you for replying to me once again.

    I used the refund tool, but it immediately tells me I have no purchases to refund, which is correct since I bought it through Steam, I assume.

    Actually, it's not really a refund I want, but simply to have the Battlefield Coins (BFC) returned to me so I have enough for the next pass. I'll skip the current one.

    If it’s BFC, you may need to reach out to EA Support, since in-game purchase issues are usually handled by the game publisher unless the purchase was made through the Steam Store. BirdieRafael also tried speaking with our live chat team and unfortunately didn’t get it refunded there, but it may still be worth giving it a try.

    Thank you for your time. I managed to contact support and I'm waiting for a response, as it turns out there is indeed a problem with this purchase. I should have an answer in a few days, hopefully it will be positive. Thanks again, and have a good day/evening.
