BF 6 no longer launching
Hi everyone,
I hope I'm posting this in the right place. For the past few weeks (I can't say exactly how long), I haven't been able to launch BF 6. Javelin Anti-Cheat runs, the BF 6 window opens and closes again after a few seconds, and I end up in the EA app. I've already tried every possible fix I could find online. All drivers, BIOS, Windows, etc., are up to date. I’ve repaired the EA app, cleared the cache, and reinstalled it. I’ve repaired BF 6 and reinstalled it. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled Anti-Cheat. All overlays are turned off. XMP is disabled in the BIOS, and TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot are enabled.
In the crash dump, I find the following information:
- (575c.4304): Access violation - code c0000005 (first/second chance not available)
- FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: INVALID_POINTER_READ_AVRF_c0000005_amdxc64.dll!Unknown
- ERROR_CODE: (NTSTATUS) 0xc0000005 - The instruction at 0x%p referenced memory at 0x%p. The operation %s could not be completed in memory.
- ExceptionAddress: 00007ffc93ac5aca (amdxc64!GetSettingsBlobsAllDecoded+0x00000000000005fa)
- ExceptionCode: c0000005 (Access violation)
Does anyone have any idea what I can do about this?
