BF6 – Network instability, ping spikes and flashing connection icons (even with stable internet)

Hello,

I want to report ongoing network instability issues in Battlefield 6.

My connection is stable and works fine in other online games, but in BF6 I experience the following problems:

Random ping spikes (sometimes up to ~170 ms for a few seconds)

Frequent flashing yellow connection icon, occasionally red

Issues are more noticeable in the evening, but can also happen during the day

No constant packet loss shown, but the game still feels unstable during spikes

What’s important is that sometimes the game runs perfectly fine, even in the evening, which suggests this might be a server-side / netcode / routing issue, not a local connection problem.

It feels like BF6 is very sensitive to small jitter or short latency spikes. A network-focused update improving netcode stability and tolerance would likely help many players.

I’ve seen other players reporting similar issues, so this doesn’t seem to be an isolated case.
