Description
While playing Battlefield 6 (Build 20199710) on a Ryzen 9 9950X3D, the CPU load is heavily pinned to the CCD without 3D V-Cache.
The scheduler does not seem to distribute threads to the V-Cache-enabled CCD, resulting in lower and unstable frame rates.
Environment
- OS: Windows 11 Pro 24H2
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 (Driver 32.0.15.8142, 2025/09/22)
- RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB F5-6000J3238F16GX2-TZ5RW
- Motherboard: Gigabyte X870E Aorus Pro Ice
- Game build: 20199710
- DirectX version: DirectX 12
- Resolution: 3840x2160 / Low settings
Observed behavior
CPU usage is concentrated on the CCD without 3D V-Cache.
Frame rate drops occur compared to other DX12 titles which correctly utilize the 3D V-Cache CCD.
