BF6 Random Crash to Desktop

I've been playing since release and no issues. I just randomly started to crash without error. This is what I'm getting in the Event Viewer > Windows Logs:

The description for Event ID 1 from source Application cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

EAAntiCheatService
ExitType: 95 (271)

The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table

My system is a 5800x3d, 4080 and 32gb ram. I'm also on Steam.

i get the same issue, sometimes with an error other times without. amd rx9700 gpu and 9900x3d

  • I also tried navigating to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Battlefield 6\EAAntiCheat

and repairing it but no luck.

  • Update: I uninstalled, deleted every folder that was Battlefield 6 related. I then installed it on a different ssd and haven't crashed yet.
