BF6 redsec. I’m in Maryland and keep connecting to Oklahoma data center

I live in Maryland, every tiMe I launch the game and start a match I get connected to Oklahoma peer server with 10-18 ms ping, when it should be 50-60 ms at that distance and the game has major lag/desync.  I’ve monitored it through dumaos  if I geofence excluding Oklahoma it will not launch a match. I’m hard stuck on connecting or being rerouted through Oklahoma which creates a lot of lag/desync.  How can I fix this issue I’ve tried VPN and geofence but it always connects to Oklahoma

  • Looks like they turned off the Oklahoma "routing" server (temporarily, I hope) because I was being routed through the Dublin Ireland server... When I live in Dallas, TX. There is a Dallas server literally in my city and I NEVER connect to it. The Dublin routing server was sending me to the Virginia and California servers and was showing 12ms-20ms ping in DumaOS, but obviously that is impossible. When I turn on the BF6 in game network statistics I could see the real ping was 50ms-60ms. Idk why EA/Dice has decided to use routing servers but I am guessing it's to stop people from using geofences with routers like ours. Screw us for wanting the lowest ping and most stable connection, I guess 🤷🏽‍♂️
