Bullet penetration (AND Destruction)

I believe the bullet penetration in Battlefield 6 is extremely dissappointing. It is my largest gripe with the game.

Bullets will not penetrate wood (AT ALL!?) -ex. The "shoot house" portion on Fort Lyndon , thin plastic (like a lawn chair!), sofa seats or couches, and thin sheet metal. These are all things I believe players MUST be able to shoot through for believable physics & gameplay, and FUN.

I think that there should be mitigated damage - for example, 35% damage max. through soft surfaces, ie. sofa, plastic, and ~15-20% for rougher material such as wood, drywall, thin sheet metal, etc. - and 9mm should have little-to-no penetration for metals/walls.

I deem this essential to my enjoyment of a shooter game, and this being a favorite of mine I can't wait to see it come to fruition.

Thank you,

p.s. And destruction is just as important as to the franchise's history and legacy. Certain walls will NOT come down with C4! (or RPG) . This is annoying. BEYOND annoying when compared to my favorite shooter experience of ALL-TIME - BF1,  in which nearly all structures were destructible. It is unnacceptable . Ex. The walls on second floor of most buildings, or bases of essential structure. What ever happened to leveling entire buildings? The set-pieces like the crane are all cool, but what about when I detonate a powerful explosive on the construction buildings immediately adjacent to that crane and see only a black mark instead of a hole in the wall? I see certain walls of that construction building are punchable! Why only so few? Construction around Nexus is the perfect example because I imagine how fun it would be to level those whole entire structures. And how to the spirit of the game would that be.

p.p.s. Might as well address this one other thing while we're on the topic. And the great thing, this is the only other BIG problem I can think of when it comes to my experience with BF6. Funnily enough, destruction is TOO much on some objects when you jump onto them. Three examples are the only areas I've run into this sort of thing:

  1. On Seige of Cairo, the metal rafters above the flank through the alleys.
  2. The bay area of Fort Lyndon, the canopys of the second floor that would allow you to jump up onto the roof (even the metal ones!).
  3. The glass surrounding stairways in Defense Nexus .

Three I could see being a larger issue in multiple areas. And for two, I believe that may be intentional to allow rooftops to be safer and easier to defend. Before I thought all canopies should be mantle-able, but with this thought I changed my mind. I think the metal ones should be, however, because it is ridiculous to see them break off, completely dissintegrate when you touch them (what am I a thousand pounds?). This would allow some easier and more varied roof access, and make it more of a challenge for those defending up there. Simply make the sturdy metal ones less numerous, and in turn more obvious to players as access points. And of course, they're still destructible - to strategically rid those points - just, not to your feet.
