Can we get some sort of time frame for fixes? Or at least an acknowledgement?
Can we get some kind of acknowledgement that support is even checking these threads? Can we get fixes for the game that doesn't require us gimping our GPU, CPU, And XMP/AMD EXPO (Ram speeds)? This probably includes the infamous DX errors this game is riddled with. Any time frame on getting hit reg fixed? You know, those moments of shooting an opponent in the back just for them to turn around and smoke you with what looks like 1 bullet ? Any plans on fixing the Fire camping that takes place in REDSEC? That's allowing people to hangout in the fire without taking damage ? What about what we were sold with Portal? Full progession with bots and friends? Being able to back fill lobbies with bots and enjoying with friends is part of why I purchased this game. Can we let the community decide on the game changes ? Not streamers? We paid our money, it's about time for some sort of acknowledgement. EA_Leeuw ??64Views6likes3CommentsPS5 Audio Distorting
Audio was working perfectly before the Winter Offensive update. After the update, my audio is distorting/crackling during explosions and gunfire, also in the respawn screen (even if it’s far off in the distance and quiet, it’s still distorted). My friends report much better directional queues and quality so great job on that, but it’s much worse for me. I’ve tried everything to fix it from my side from power cycling all my hardware, flat EQ, all in-game output formats and audio presets (default, night mode, etc…), tweaking PS5 tempest settings like disabling 3D audio. I’ve tried reducing output volume on the PS5, master game volume, effects volume, headset volume to allow headroom, but as mentioned before- it still happens even when quiet or distant. I suspect it’s clipping due to layer stacking without sufficient compression. I’ve tried to EQ it out but it only results in an EQd distortion. I’m using a Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless headset so the PS5 is outputting USB audio (skips HDMI formatting and forces Linear PCM) to the base station, then the base station is broadcasting on 2.5ghz to the headset. I thought there may be bottlenecking somewhere here but my other wired Razor headset (3.5mm jack into the controller) does the exact same. BOTTOM LINE: this started exactly when the winter offensive update with audio enhancements dropped so I know it’s an issue on BF6 side and not my side. All other games sound perfect. EDIT: Can DICE please get on this or at least tell us when they’ll look into it because it’s honestly unplayable. I can’t put up with this distortion for more than a game or two. Literally going to just play something else if this isn’t addressed.313Views3likes7CommentsInvalid Pointer and Access Violations (CRASH)
Again i’m reaching out to share my frustration with Battlefield 6 and the consistent crashes I’ve been encountering. After performing various hardware tests (including MemTest86, stress tests, and verifying all components), I’ve found no issues with my hardware. However, BF6 crashes immediately after launching or during gameplay. I’ve tried updating drivers, reinstalling the game, updating the BIOS, and even reinstalling Windows — but the problem persists. Interestingly, I’ve been able to run demanding games like Alan Wake 2 and Stellar Blade without any issues, so it's clear this problem is specific to BF6. Crash Details: After analyzing the crash dumps, I found the following: Error Type: Access Violation (INVALID_POINTER_READ) Error Code: 0xC0000005 Faulting Module: bf6.exe Faulting Function: ffxFsr2ResourceIsNull (memory address: 0x144b3a6e0) Exception Information: The crash occurs when the game attempts to read from the invalid memory address 0xFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF. Crash Dump File: CrashDump_2026.01.03_14.56.48.058.mdmp This indicates a problem within bf6.exe at the ffxFsr2ResourceIsNull function, which seems to involve faulty memory access during runtime. The issue appears to be related to a null pointer dereference, possibly due to a bug in the game’s code or an incompatibility with the system’s configuration. I’ve tried multiple solutions, including updating the drivers, reinstalling the game, updating the BIOS, and reinstalling Windows, but the issue still persists. Hi im still missing my tier 60 rewards from the road to bf6 event and i was told to write a post here on the forums i have been in contact with support since the launch of bf6 about this issue. The specific items that are missing are: Soldier skin: sovereign soldier Uniform patch: burning sky Dog tag: the blackout Player card background: test or time Player card background: evolution Player card icon: no-pat Player card title: non-patriated So all the tier 60 rewards from the road to Battlefield 6Battlefield 6 detecting wrong graphics driver on Laptop AMD
So im having this issue where battlefield 6 is detecting my integrated graphics driver as not fully updated when theres no update available to begin with. The game is just completely ignoring my dedicated gpu which is an rx 6800m. I've tried setting battlefield 6 to high performance mode in windows to no avail. Was wondering if theres gonna be a fix to this other than disabling my integrated graphics or doing a registry edit. Thanks for everything.3.6KViews7likes17CommentsHigh CFT and TN result in rubberbanding and bad hit registration
So were talking about this video I already postet under the official thread about these issues: You can see me and the other players rubberbanding, you can see many hits not being registered and you can even hear the gun sometimes not firing (as can be seen in the 'shots fired' graph). This mostly happens in crowded parts of the map. Now, you can see my latency being at around 5 ms through fiber internet, so thats fine. Im sitting in Germany so EU servers are close. I'm rocking a i5-13600K and a RTX 3060Ti alongside 24GB of DDR4 memory. The game is installed on a 2TB 990 Evo Plus NVME. As you can see, im reaching 100-130 fps according to MSI Afterburner/RivaTuner, with CPU and GPU being not at full load and ok temps. I see the CFT being higher than SFT in the network overlay. Also the TN ist so astronomically high too. User OskooI_007 replied to my other post and is talking about high 'framerate' due to my high CFT of 16 ms: 1000ms ÷ 16ms = 62fps However, is it correct to talk about 'framerate' in this context? Cause my PC renders more than 100 'fps' as you can see in the video. Is CFT more like a game logic update rate my PC can't compute more than 60 of per second (or one every 16 ms) even tho graphically it can render faster than this which it does? And even if thats the reason for my bad experience, the resulting framerate is still around 50-60. Well playable. That doesnt explain to me the immense rubberbanding and hit reg problems i encounter on a regular basis. Whatever it is, why is it that my 3 generations newer as the recommended CPU alongside my as-recomended GPU can't handle the game? Plus, why doesn't the CPU run under full load when struggling to achieve these numbers? It's sitting there at like 80% load. Since many people are struggling with this at the moment and sharing it here and over on Reddit, i feel like something must be off. Apparently BF6 devs also recognize that there's an issue, hence the official thread. And I also see that in many cases it can be axplained not by 'server issues' or 'netcode' but rather a client-side problem. So yeah, I'm open to recommendations for troubleshooting. But in the long run i feel there must be something done to the game's demand if this recommended machine cant handle it as it should.162Views1like3CommentsPlease Fix Squad Join Issues — You’re Losing Players
Please Fix Squad Join Issues — You’re Losing Players Previously, we were able to join a 4-player squad game through EA Connect, which allowed friends to join after the game had already started. Recently, however, this feature no longer works. Despite trying every possible workaround, our PS5 party of five can’t invite the extra player as we used to. Are you telling us that we shouldn’t play if we have more than three friends in a group? Because right now, that’s what it feels like. You’re taking away one of the features that made the game fun and community-driven, and it’s frustrating. So what’s the plan, EA? Are you going to fix this, or should we move on to something else
