can i run 2 monitors on pc

So Im playing the game on PC and for some reason I cannot get the game to let me play on 1 monitor which is my gaming monitor and browse the internet on the other monitor. Is this a known issue ? And is there a fix for it ? I tried running in windows and borderless but I cant seem to get my mouse out of the Main window unless I close the game and go back to the EA App Screen. Just an inconvenience thing really - I like to be able to search things, check forums, etc in the other monitor..
