Either they didn't expect the uptake or they have just realised how popular they are and cut the service??

This is a slightly different issue. The problem in the topic is that we can't even test our maps (I want to try creating a new one based on an existing one), but I can't even test it before publication because it doesn't display. Apparently, all the free slots are now occupied by XP grinding maps....
