Cannot join same server with wife under same internet

What Internet do you guys have? A year ago we got AT&T fiber and the default gateway they gave us made the nat show as "restricted" in my Xbox network info. Ultimately, I had to set up ip passthrough on my att gateway, turn off its own wifi, and get a regular wifi router where upnp worked automatically and then my nat on my Xbox wasn't shown as "restricted" any more. This "restricted" nat thing was never an issue when I had Xfinity, but now that everything is working fine, I'm happy with AT&T.
