Can't control drone

There are no valid controls for Recon class' drone aside from ascend and descend. I have tried every key on mouse and keyboard.

There are rumors that devs hardcoded Arrow keys to move the drone - and that rebinding infantry movement to those keys will somehow delete the drone keys? Surely that can't be true. Nobody at EA would make such a massive mistake, and not do anything about in five months, am I right?
