Sometimes, that implies that the account has been banned. If you wanted to check this, there's a webform in the guide below that will let you contact EA's Terms of Service team.

Alternatively, it may be worth making sure that all addons are installed, in case that's causing the issue. 

it tells me that my ea account is restricted even though i made it today and never played any game on it 
i cant find any solution to this and its annoying me alot i just wanna play the game

can u stop marking my and others post as solved ? when its clearly not solved im not banned and even an email confirmed it 

My fix was play on steam.

Ea play doesnt work for me

I had this same problem when I downloaded the game from the EA App. I fully deleted it from the EA App and downloaded it from Steam; it now works.
