Connection failed : 1:86001S:66003S:4688822970:0B on XBOX

I have been unable to play BF6 for 2 days due to it saying ‘connection failed’ which means I’m not even able to get past the title screen. I have good internet all other games are working with online multiplayer. I have restarted the Xbox and the router. I have an open NAT type. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game twice but it’s made no change. Not sure what else I can do any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

  • COX9813 connect the Xbox console to a wifi hotspot on your smartphone. Are you able to connect to BF6 now?

So from what I could work out it looks like my WiFi is IPv4 which it doesn’t seem to like too much. I connected to my friends hotspot which is IPv6 and it worked fine. Annoyingly my WiFi provider only has an IPv4 option but battlefield has started working again. I would suggest trying to get your WiFi on IPv6 if you’re able to and see if that helps.

Yeah it worked looks like it was my WiFi not being able to provide IPv6. However it has started working again now so maybe my WiFi was just having a bad time. Thanks :)

Yes I can, whats the issue here?

There's multiple possible reasons that might be causing the connection issue to BF6 servers.

    • Home router issue.
    • ISP network issue.
    • DNS server settings issue.

Does unplugging the home router power cord for 30 seconds and then plugging it back in fix the connection issue?
