If you have a moment, it may be worth trying a couple of additional things alongside what’s already been suggested - restarting your router to refresh the connection, testing a match on a different network (like a mobile hotspot) to see if the behaviour changes, and if your router supports it, enabling QoS (Quality of Service) to help prioritise game traffic.
If you notice any changes or patterns, feel free to share - it really helps build a clearer picture.

Unplugging my ethernet cord and connecting to WiFi on same router/network brought some improvement. Initially, there was no improvement and ping spikes were higher when things were happening in the game (e.g., explosions, vehicle use, fast movement). After two matches, things greatly improved, but my ping was still higher than normal (normal/pre-update: 30ms | Ethernet: >200ms | WiFi: 60-80ms).
Restarting the router didn't improve anything on Ethernet and I don't appear to have access to enable QoS/SQM on my router.
