What exactly are the problems you are having?
Is it pinned at 100%?
Is your CPU overheating?
What CPU and GPU do you have? CPU cooler? What case? Are you case fans high RPM and set properly in bios? If you're on a laptop do you have a good cooling pad like a V12? When was the last time you cleaned the PC and got rid of dust in the case & GPU fans? How long has it been since the thermal paste was cleaned & reapplied?
What settings are you using? What resolution?
Do you have data from HWINFO or CapFrameX showing the overheating?
"Not a peep from the devs."
What do you want them to say? "Sorry DamageJackal, we specifically made the game run bad for you, our fault, we'll update it so it runs at 400 fps for you in the next patch."
ANYTHING. "We're working to fix it" would be an appropriate start, considering the amount of money I and quite a bit of others dropped on it. ANYTHING.
Just browse Reddit, X, here, and Steam forums. I, the others here etc, are FAR from the only people experiencing this yet now its going on 2 weeks with nothing.
PS: Nice try with the rage bait-derail-strawman-redirect by saying things I didn't ask/want. Not addressing. Moving on.
Hostile responses will be straight ignored from here on out. Lol, Good try with the "Sorry DamageJackal, we specifically made the game run bad for you, our fault, we'll update it so it runs at 400 fps for you in the next patch."
Chefs kiss.

""We're working to fix it""
Working to fix what? If a dev showed up and said "okay, DamageJackal, what is happening on your PC while you play the game that makes you think I need to fix something?" What would be the answer.
Your post says nothing about what problem you have (high CPU load? CPU pinned to 100%? GPU 100%? 95c temps? Game not using all your cores? Massive FPS drops?) I even directly asked you tell us what problem you have in more detail and you ignored it.
How can you expect any help without telling anyone what system specs you have and what problem you claim to have?
I've seen people who complained about high CPU usage and stuttering and their fix was changing a setting in their bios that was disabling their CPU's hyperthreading. That's not something the game can ever fix.
I've seen people who complained about high CPU usage and temps and the problem was that they perceived this as a problem when their temps & load were fine, they just don't play intensive games and so thought there was an issue that needed to be fixed.
There will be people whose PC case is one of those terrible airflow cases with closed glass panels everywhere with no airflow, and people with CPU coolers that aren't good enough for their CPU.
