Crashing to desktop

BF6 has a crashdump area \documents\battlefield 6\crashdumps\ which I would think you can pass to DICE to analyse.

If you are using an Anti Virus, turn it off and see if things improve.

I'm having the same issue. Can't last more than 5 minutes in a match. No freezing or stuttering or any kind of warning. Just crash straight to desktop with no error code. It was fine yesterday afternoon and now I can't play at all today. I updated my video drivers, repaired the game files in Steam (there are 3 that always need to be re-downloaded), cleared the EA App cache, restarted my computer, lowered the graphics settings to the bare minimum... still the same issue. At first I thought it was a memory leak thing, but I saw on Reddit someone said it could be the anticheat mistaking OBS studios or the Game Bar or something. I also have OBS Studio and a second monitor, but I haven't had it open since I restarted my computer. I can't imagine that's triggering it? I can't find any recent files in the crashdumps folder. No idea of any changes that could've happened between yesterday afternoon and this morning. Very frustrating.

For me, it's crashing when I try to load into a match. I was'nt able to see a single frame of an online match. It also crashes when I try to start the campaign or load into a RedSec match. It could be worse, bro ;)

If Windows Event Viewer is only showing stuff from a year ago it sounds like it's got some corrupt files, which can happen if the system is unexpectedly powered off. sfc /scannow will often fix it, but sometimes you need to get in and manually delete the Event Viewer log files.

One thought, have you messed with the Windows virtual memory settings?

BF6 does need a lot of virtual address space, so if you're restricted the size of the page file it could definitely be causing crashes.

I'll take a peak in there, you're the first to seemingly mention this dump file, no AV except Windows Defender, I don't do anything sketch or go on any questionable sites or download anything from anywhere other than NVidia/etc so I haven't had the need for a separate AV since the launch of Windows 10 where I found Avast just slows the system down to a crawl anyways.

I also just noticed these are MDMP files which will need a program like WinDbg to open similar to Windows dump files.

From my experience with Event Viewer, it only moderates critical things, as far as them being a year ago, I have ran the sfc and DISM programs, I do this frequently as it's good practice to do so anyways as Windows can break literally doing nothing. I just have not had any issue Event Viewer feels the need to log in over a year as my computer (though getting a touch "dated") is pretty healthy and all my HDD's and SSD's are new within the last 4 to 6 months. My last Event Viewer logs indicate issues from when I had been testing for a stable OC on my CPU and GPU (the 980Ti), these have all however have been reversed since this issue has came to be and even then my OC's were stable for that year or so. 

I'm a freak when it comes to my hardware, I do regular cleanings and frequent health checks (DISM/sfc) pretty much every time Windows updates or I do driver updates. My computer is solely a gaming machine that rarely sees even YouTube, as far as OBS goes I do not stream to Twitch, I use it to record periodically and stream to Discord friends like my nephew and his friends.

I forgot to mention the virtual memory question, I usually let Windows manage that and with this problem I have tried setting it to pretty much every suggestion everyone has had with no change. 

It definitely can be worse, I would guess for you it could be hardware issues, I heard 14th gen Intel processors have issues. But I'm not sure.

I just checked Event Viewer myself and found the following errors that I believe were around the times BF6 crashed: EAAntiCheatService
ExitType: 95 (271) and (253)

Others have suggested manually reinstalling the anticheat software to fix this. I'll try that, I guess.
