Direct X E_OUTOFMEMORY error

I have been unable to launch BF6 on my PC due to a dirext X error. Any help will be very much appreciated. I have attached a screenshot of the error. It pops up every time I try to launch the game. I have look up solutions, but haven't found anything that helps.

HP Omen 16L
Processor    Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 7 265F (2.40 GHz)
Installed RAM    16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable)
System type    64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

GPU  NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti

I have reinstalled the anticheat. I have udpated all drivers. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest drivers. I have disabled the power management to the PCI express.

Am I missing something to fix? Thanks!

  • Sounds more like a VRAM thing than regular system RAM. If you post a dxdiag file we can take a closer look. You should be able to directly upload the .txt file here. If you haven't used that command before it's super easy to search and run from start menu then hit "save all information" to make a text file you can post here.

My guess is there's an issue there and could be in relation to any settings you have in game. If we're running the game absolutely full bore crysis grade visuals but dont have enough vram to DO that well there's the issue.

  • I solved the problem by uninstalling the game and reinstalling it. However, before reinstalling, I installed the latest Windows 11 updates. I also disabled turbo bust. As a result, I no longer encounter DRX errors or game crashes.

    I hope it helps you.
