DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED or DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG

Hey, folks

I poked around and saw a few more players having the same issue on Steam as well - Steam Link. If you can, please provide the following for us:

  • EA ID/Steam ID
  • OS installed:
  • OS Version
  • GPU: 
  • GPU Version
  • Date/time issue occurred?
  • Summarize your bug:
  • What type of issue do you have? Crash - Disconnect - kicked to main menu, etc.
  • In which mode has this happened? MP - Campaign - if MP, which part?
  • Any other errors when they happen?
  • Crash the entire game, or just pops up the error?
  • Is this during a specific mission or during a cut-scene?
  • Can you attach a DxDiag?

Having same issue after playing a few matches. 

Steam ID: 76561198133722959

OS installed: W11 Home

OS Version: 24H2

GPU: 4090

GPU Version: 581.29

Date/time issue occurred: Randomly when playing

Summarize your bug: Game crashes with DirectX Error "GetDeviceRemovedReason: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG

What type of issue do you have? Crash - Disconnect - kicked to main menu, etc. : Crashing

In which mode has this happened? MP - Campaign - if MP, which part? : MP - any game mode

Any other errors when they happen? : No

Crash the entire game, or just pops up the error? : Crash entire game

Is this during a specific mission or during a cut-scene? : No

Can you attach a DxDiag? : Yes
