Hi All, I just ran into the same issue after playing the first two days without any problems.
After running into this issue i did the following:
- I verified my steam game files
- ran disk cleanup on all disks
- reinstalled my gpu software
None of that worked for me :(
I then tried another game, thinking that maybe its a gpu issue and not something with battlefield. I ran another game and didn't run into the issue...so i knew at this point, its likely something with BF6.
Finally i tried disabling my Nvidia overlay and sure enough, that did it! I ran the game without problem afterwards. Then mid game i turned the overlay back on (seeing if it would crash)....aaannnndddddd nope!
I was able to keep playing for multiple hours without issue :)
I hope this helps at least some if not all of you!
If its helpful, here's some of my hardware info:
- AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
- TUF Gaming X570-PLUS
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 8 gb
See you on the battlefield ;)
