i also had this error today, my 1080ti hadd a driver update 2 days ago and the game worked fine.
offline story mode works so there is nothing wrong with GPU or my PC
i also had this problem with the beta after 2 days of playing i got the same error
there were no changes or updates to my pc in that timeframe
