Stop overclocking hardware without doing thorough stability checks, passing 3DMark is not enough on Radeon GPU's.

The AMD driver by default will push clocks beyond default if the default selection is not selected in the driver panel, so for those using custom to alter a fan profile for example will have the GPU exceeding stock levels. Example from my own panel.
My XFX 7900 XTX is rated at 2615 MHz PEAK boost, the driver defaults to over 3ghz with no adjustment made.

Yeppers, that's a thing, but most of us have tried every fix in the book and the biggest explanation to this issue isn't on our side at all it's something like this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jbgr23hHj1I
I've disabled both DOCP/ EXPO, PBO and have run fresh installs of different drivers to no avail, am currently running the Default setting in Adrenaline as well.
And the bigger question is, should you have to disable 2000 settings not to crash for a single game or is it just badly optimized at that point?
First 35 hours I had this crash happen twice and like a lot of people it just keeps getting worse.
After the 35 hours I got 5 crashes in 4 hours-ish and now it's everything between 2-20 minutes. Yesterday I actually managed to play a few full matches, never a few in a row, but one here and there. This issue was apparently in the beta (Didn't happen to me) and in BF2042 (Never noticed it there either and never had it happen in any other game).
I've ran CPU / RAM and GPU tests for hours to see if I could find any instability in my system but not even a hint of an error on my side so far.
The only thing I haven't tried so far is to reinstall Windows but according to most people who have tried it'd also do diddly to solve the issue so not bothering with that. Otherwise I've gone through countless threads including this one and tried almost every single tip, but my guess is DICE has to actually do something about it and preferably ASAP since it seems to be affecting thousands of players.
