Date / Time issue occurred:
Every session since day one of the game.
Latest crash: October 2025, usually 5–15 minutes after joining a match.
Summarize your bug:
Battlefield 6 crashes to desktop after 5–15 minutes with either DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG or Access Violation (0xC0000005) inside RenderCore2.PlatformPcDx12.dll or RenderCore2.PlatformPcDx11.dll.
All .mdmp files confirm the crash originates inside Frostbite RenderCore2 (command submission stage), not in the NVIDIA driver.
It is 100% reproducible and started immediately after the game launch.
Type of issue:
Crash with error DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG.
Mode:
Multiplayer – all modes (also sometimes in main menu after idle time).
Any other errors:
Windows Event Viewer → Application Error 1000:
BattlefieldGame.exe crashes in RenderCore2.PlatformPcDx11.dll at offset 0x0000000000066CA (Exception code 0xC0000005).
