Don’t get me wrong. I don’t know exactly what’s going wrong here, and it could somehow be NVIDIA’s or AMD’s fault (although I highly doubt it). But here's my two cents: that argument makes no sense.
You make a game for the hardware that’s out there, not the other way around. It’s not the manufacturers’ responsibility to build GPUs/keep optimizing drivers for every single game that gets developed. If this issue were happening only on newer hardware/drivers—which is not the case—I could agree with you to some extent. But people have been reporting these issues since the beta and even on other games using the same engine, with the most diverse hardware combinations.
What I said has happened, does happen, and will happen again. It may seem odd, but thats just how it is and ultimately is down to the GPU manufacturers to fix often enough. Happens to a bunch of games for a bunch of cards and driver versions all the time.

Happens to EA games. Do not have this issue will a single other title of mine. EA is notorious for this and if they wish to release games that don't function on a specific gpu driver then they do not care about their customer experience. Waiting around until GPU manufacturer releases a driver that makes the game playable makes no sense to me. This is why EA has the reputation they have for releasing broken games. Maybe in another few months or a year this issue will be resolved and all the other bugs...by then many people will have already been aggravated enough to not even want to play...cue player count tanking ....time for some Arc Raiders!
