Has it been fixed yet? I want to buy the game again but first i need to be sure it isn't just going to crash again, doubt i'll get another refund

I would not hold my breath, the issue is with the Frostbite engine and certain software/hardware settings/configs. The same thing happens in BF2042 and is still there so I doubt EA will "fix" it.
