Hate to break it to you but this is NOT the main issue leading to the decline in active players, this issue happens will less than 1% of PC players. The decline in players has been around 85-90% (747,440 peak to ~90,000wk-peak) for PC players which is an exponentially greater percentage than the DXGI incident rate.

As for users with the DXGI issue I have way overestimated the number and it still is < 1%. So, there are 2090 replies to this thread and generously assuming every single post represents a user getting the error (even though there are users with multiple posts in the thread) and then tripling this number you end up with around 6,000 which is still less than 1% of the peak number of PC users.
Interesting calculation, but I don’t think the conclusion holds. Forum replies aren’t a reliable way to estimate error prevalence. You’re comparing something that accumulates over time (forum posts) to a denominator that represents a single snapshot in time (peak concurrent users). A more appropriate comparison would be the number of unique players over the same time window versus the number of those players who encounter the error. That data or telemetry isn’t publicly available.
Would not underestimate this problem, the internet is full of this problem. Not sure if from declining tendencies of player base ignoring the players affected by this is ok. I would love to play BF, i am a veteran since 1942. NEVER had such technical difficulties with the games and we all know the state of BF3/BF4 when released. At this point i stopped playing praying for fix i can apply.
