Interesting calculation, but I don’t think the conclusion holds. Forum replies aren’t a reliable way to estimate error prevalence. You’re comparing something that accumulates over time (forum posts) to a denominator that represents a single snapshot in time (peak concurrent users). A more appropriate comparison would be the number of unique players over the same time window versus the number of those players who encounter the error. That data or telemetry isn’t publicly available.
I overestimatewd the number of people with the issue by more than a factor of 5, even if you overestimate by a factor of 10 it is still not significant enough. Also the peak users IS the MINIMUM number of games sold on PC as each concurrent user is unique.
I wonder how many people complaining about the issue have actually REPORTED or raised a support request (https://help.ea.com/en/customer-care/) about the issue with EA? Posting in this forum is NOT the same as reporting it.
