DXGI_ERROR

Seeing as DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED or DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG | EA Forums - 12737991 is marked as resolved, while it clearly is not, i've decided to make a new post.

I started experiencing this error out of nowhere yesterday on my first game. I bought it december 15th, and now i can't return it.

I can boot it up, and browse the game modes, but when i choose a gamemode it either crashes on the next screen after 2-3 seconds, or it crashes after 1 second when i press Search. I haven't been able to get into a game.

I am running the following:
CPU: I7-9700KF

GPU: Geforce GTX 1080, driver: 32.0.15.8194

RAM: 32GB

I haven't changed any settings. I've tried updating every driver, and reparing the game

This is not happening in the campaign

  • If you have overclocked your GPU try to lower the values or run stock GPU settings. I've had the same problem when I push my GPU OC settings, I fixed it by lowering my OC settings

Thanks for the advice, however my GPU isn't overclocked.

  • In short: A GTX 1080 is powerful enough to run Battlefield 6 at 1080p on low or medium settings. However, you will see much better performance with GPUs above the minimum requirement of an RTX 2060.

I had quite good framerate with it, so i don't believe that is the reason why the game has suddenly stopped working
