EA — will I ever be able to play this game? Case #225201907

I bought Battlefield 6 on Steam and, days later, I’m still locked out by “Connection Failed — 1:86001S:66003S:4688822970:0B.” My Steam–EA account is properly linked and I’ve completed every official troubleshooting step (file verify, EAAntiCheat repair, EA App cache clear, DNS/network checks). This is not a Steam client problem; it’s an EA‑side authentication/backend failure that blocks a paid product.

Multiple EA agents consumed hours of my time and then closed my ticket as “Resolved/No Fix Available,” with no technical explanation, no backend investigation, and no email follow‑up. So tell me plainly: am I never going to be able to play the game I paid for?

Here’s what needs to happen now:

  • Reopen and set Case #225201907 to In Progress and escalate to the EA authentication/server team.
  • Publicly acknowledge this is on EA’s side and provide a concrete ETA and the exact server‑side or client patch that will fix it.
  • Keep the case open until I can connect normally, notify by email of progress, and publish a visible incident/patch note when the fix goes live.
Players deserve transparency, accountability, and compensation for EA service downtime.

  • This is getting absolutely rediculous because im having the same problem since it came out. why pay for a 70$ game when you cant even play it. like its really frustrating im still waiting to even get into the main menu with no fix in sight.
