Enabling Shadowplay causes Mouse input issues [Devs, get your poo in one sock]
Its only just started happening today, ive placed BF6 since release without this issue.
Bug: When moving the mouse in-game, input acts erratically, as if turning up or down sensitivity at certain intervals (2-3 seconds).
Result: Raw Input of mouse is not being translated properly to gamestate. Its not quite input delay but rather a Sensitivity Issue where instead of running at normal sensitivity, it runs at lower sensitivity, followed by a random spike of high sensitivity.
I noticed that Shadowplay would randomly turn itself off on boot, when I turned it on, it would cause this issue, when I turned it off, the issue would disappear.
Additional info:
- I had a xbox 360 wired controller plugged in earlier. I thought this might have been causing an issue, I unplugged it and it continued to have the same issue even after ALT F4 and restarting the process.
- I had also turned off Gsync (temporarily) as a measure to get my ASUS ROG SWITFT PG27AQN monitor to display the game (while in fullscreen) This is a known issue with my monitor but usually restarting the game and/or EA with it fixes this issue. I Turned Gsync back on via NVIDIA control panel while in game and the mouse sensitivity issue persisted until I turned off ShadowPlay.
