I’m glad I’m also not the only one with this issue. This was also a problem for me during the bf6 open beta. Anytime I would enable FSR frame gen, the performance metrics would of course show a boost in fps, 120+ (with a base fps of 60 and more), but it wouldn’t feel smooth at all. AMD fluid motion/lossless scaling appear much smoother. In games like cyberpunk where I downloaded the Xess 2.1 (or whatever version) SDK and dragged it into the cyberpunk 2077 folder, I was able to get a stable and far more smoother feel with Xess frame generation compared to FSR (however fsr in that game was smooth, it just had a lot of ghosting).
I also have an issue with choppiness with fsr frame generation on in Doom the dark ages, which still hasn’t been fixed.
I do hope DICE adjusts the implementation of FSR fg for battlefield 6, or at least add XessFg in because it is far more stable to me.
I have a 6700xt as the GPU.
