Game closes down after splash

Upon starting the game on Steam I see the anti-cheat splash screen for a couple of seconds. After it vanishes the blue 'Stop' button on the Battlefield 6 Steam client reverts to the green 'Play' button with the game client not starting.

I had this same exact issue in the Beta and what fixed it then for me was creating a local user account on my home PC which could then launch Battlefield 6 without issue.

While this is a work-around that works, I'd love for the issue to be looked into and resolved.

Secure boot - Enabled
Nvidia Smooth Motion - Disabled
Game and anti-cheat client running as admin - Enabled
