Game crashes, green screen, forced reboot

I've had this issue for a little while. At first my game was crashing, power would turn off and make my computer reboot to Windows with no error. I took it to my local computer shop and they updated some files, and the BIOS. It was fine for a week and then just yesterday, I got the same issue again. Only this time, I get a green screen, before the power shuts down, and reboots back to Windows. This happened to me five times. Is there anything I can fix on my own instead of taking it to my local computer shop again?
