Game crashes to desktop without errors

Since the Season 1 update, I'm having crashes, usually when a match starts.

I've noticed that EA App crashes and this makes the game close.

Looking at the Windows Event Viewer, the crash is always related to the ntdl.dll:

Faulting application name: EADesktop.exe, version: 13.579.0.6092, time stamp: 0x68f6702f
Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 10.0.26100.6899, time stamp: 0x234c0f50

Faulting package-relative application ID:

I searched but didn't found anyone mentioning this events. Also, I already changed some settings, like capping the FPS to 120 instead of the max supported by my screen; change graphics settings, disabled optimizations, etc. Is a Russian roulette.

Additional details:
- I bought the game through Epic
- I used to play using a VPN. Already tried to play without it and even closing it; it shouldn't be a issue, the game should be able to handle that;
- I've MSI Afterburner on; I had it running in previous titles without issue;
- Nvidia overlay was active; same as above;
- I have an anti-virus installed (Kaspersky);
- I checked the game files and repaired it;
- I already restored the EA App
