Game Crashes
I am sure there are other discussions on this topic already, but even after the newest GPU driver updates and game updates I still get these random crashes with a DirectX error, sometimes it's my fir...
I have also been getting these crashes since day 1 of RedSec. I have tried multiple driver updates (always updating to latest stable), verifying files and tweaking the GPU profile by undervolting etc. Like the people here already mentioned, the crashes seem random. There can be days without them, and then one day there could be multiple within a few minutes. I use a Ryzen 7 7700, an RX 9060 XT 16GB, current driver 25.11.1 on Windows 11 25H2. I have seen some posts and comments on other forums mentioning that this could be an AMD CPU issue (like BF6 not working well with PBO, EXPO?) instead of a GPU issue. Lastly, I should mention that this game is the only one that has this problem on my system. Can this get more attention?
EDIT: For reference, this is the same as this forum discussion, which started 2 months ago.
Seems like we have similar builds and the same GPU. I know on one of the driver updates, (25.10.2 Release Notes), it specifically talks about bf6 crashes and support for this game on these GPUs, and when I get the error message it specifically calls out that driver number. AMD suggests using the cleanup utility (AMD Cleanup Utility ) to erase any previous drivers before updating to the new one. I will need to give this a try and see if it helps.
As far as EXPO goes, I did consider it but everyone says that it should be stable at 6000 MT/s, and also why would it give me a DirectX error with my GPU in it as well ? I an not sure how memory would affect the GPU itself.
I will have to give it some time and play the game and see if using the utility and then redownloading the newest adrenaline version solves the crashing.
Update : this did not fix it
