Game silently crashing
There is an issue with my BF6 on steam client, the game itself is silently crashing while in the little pop up window before the game launches, steps I have taken to fix the issue but have not work from the EA support team:
- Close EA App & Steam (check Task Manager for leftover processes).
Reinstall EA AntiCheat - Download from: https://help.ea.com/help/pc/ea-anticheat/
-Choose Repair or Uninstall → Reinstall. - Clear Cache
- EA App: Settings → Recovery → Clear Cache
- Steam: Settings → Downloads → Clear Download Cache
- Verify Game Files in Steam after reinstalling AntiCheat.
- Disable Conflicting Software
- AutoHotkey scripts, overlays (Discord, MSI Afterburner), antivirus.
- Run EA App & Steam as Administrator.
If still broken:
- Delete these files from the game folder:
- EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.dll
- EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe
- preloader_l.dll
Then Verify Files again.
the game is still stating i am missing 3 files everytime, this sounds like what was happening back in OCT of 2025, if any one has a solution or is a patch from EA can fix this I would really appreciate it.
