I’m having an issue joining BR Ranked matches. When I try to enter a game, the matchmaking just keeps counting the minutes and never actually puts me into a match.
I’ve already tried waiting, restarting the game, and checking my connection, but the problem continues.
Could you please help me fix this issue?

Do you have a screenshot of the error message youre getting?

Sorry to hear you’re running into that.
If Ranked BR matchmaking just keeps counting and never actually places you into a match, could you let us know which platform and region you’re playing from? It would also be helpful to know whether this is only happening in Ranked BR, or if other modes are affected as well.
If you haven’t already, it may also be worth trying: fully restarting the game and platform client once more before retrying

I am running into the same problem, Oceana servers and even tried using exitlag and still no result?
Similar thing happend to me ps5. But yesterday after season 3 update when joining through regular multiplayer. I am able to find the first game and get into a server. As soon as that game finishes it never joins next match it keeps counting to zero and getting stuck there. Stay with Squadeabd etc dosent work anymore. So i have to get out to be able to get into a match again.
Oceana (brisbane and melbourne) squad of 4 were in matchmaking for 20min at a time, tried all 4 of us hosting from both Melbourne and Brisbane, tried using a vpn to Singapore to even initiate a game lobby for ranked, no issue in regular redsec tried at 2.30pm, 3.30, 4.30, 6pm and 7.30pm not even a single ranked lobby, got into one as a solo to the entry lobby (helicopter menu) with Thai players on a 200ping all on pc platform
Hey guys. Don’t know if alterations for the +-2 rank-rule is viable, but after reaching Gold1, playing stopped there. Cannot find any matches at all, no matter the matchmaking time.
May try again in the evening, but if matchmaking and advancing stops at gold, getting 10k+ more RP will get hard.
Playing EU, PS. Normal modes work fine.

Once you get to gold Rank in redsec you cannot find a game you just sit in matchmaking infinitely.

The beginning of Ranked mode has been very troubled. The gameplay is okay despite the bugs that are happening, but what is really damaging the experience is that we are unable to play the mode.
Many players, especially after reaching Silver — but mostly Gold rank — are unable to play because they get stuck in an infinite queue and cannot find a lobby.
I understand that the game mode is still in development and currently part of the BF6 Labs, but I think fixing the matchmaking system should be one of your top priorities as soon as possible.
When players are unable to queue and play Ranked Battle Royale, they will either migrate to other games or stop playing completely. If that happens, the remaining gold players who are still trying to queue will also struggle to find matches because there will not be enough players to form a 100-player lobby.
As a result, the cycle will continue, and eventually there simply won’t be enough active players for the ranked system to function properly.
Because of this, there should probably be a hotfix as soon as possible to temporarily remove the current ranked matchmaking restrictions and allow free matchmaking in Ranked Battle Royale, without considering player ranks for now, while a better long-term solution is being developed.
