Gun will randomly continuously fire and won’t stop

Having the same issue myself. 

Same Issue PC on controller.

and it wasnt just my keyboard lagging. it was keyboard, mouse and controller. Remove armoury crate

Clean install of the software fixed the issue as well. Most of my setup requires Armoury Crate. 

I have this issue myself, it had seemed to resolve itself a few days ago then re-appeared, I use a Nintendo switch pro controller and use a Steelseries keyboard but Steelseries is turned off, I want to use my controller but it keeps detecting a random keyboard or mouse input and then triggers the auto-fire bug

After testing myself, it was the AI Assistant component to Armoury Crate causing the bug. After clean install, I did not install that component and have not had the issue. 

I have been having this same issue on PC, that started about 5 days ago.

Mid game, my gun started firing non stop for no reason, until the mag was empty.

I couldn’t do anything to stop it. When I switched to my pistol, same thing. It would shoot on its own until the mag was empty.  This goes for the guns on any vehicle, especially heli’s and tanks.

I restarted the game, same issue.

I then loaded up BF4 and no issues whatsoever ever, as well as BF3, no issues whatsoever. Played a full game on each.

Same PC, controller.

I’m not sure why, but something is glitching in BF6.

Anyone else experience this?

What is the Armoury Crate that a few are mentioning?  Why would removing it be the solution, and how do you remove it?  Where do I find it to remove it?

I have now solved it I think by setting my controller to Xbox buttons instead of my nintendo switch buttons then changing the layout back to my nintendo switch buttons

so in settings go to controller and turn off nintendo buttons then go to BF6 and click the controller button to open layout and invert x and y then invert a and b buttons and change the Dpad to a directional pad not a button pad

I'm confused by this whole Armoury Crate thing.   Apparently its an ASUS thing?

My computer is not ASUS, and I'm using a MAC (apple) usb wired keyboard as well as a HP usb wired mouse.

I don't believe I have anything ASUS on my gaming PC.

Can you please explain in the simplest yet detailed terms, what you mean by this Armoury Crate, and what you are suggesting i do as a solution from this Auto Firing of my weapons in BF6?
