guns will randomly change to single fire when shooting at some enemy's

the last 2 days i was forced to play multiplayer because the rug pull on portal. every match my guns will auto switch to single fire and of course now i die. so not sure if this is some kind of hack people are using or not. but it does seem to only happen on players that have a in game kd of 20 plus.
