Heavy stuttering after S4 update

After latest update, I started experiencing FPS stuttering in game, especially on new map. It's barely noticeable most of the time on old maps, but Tsuru Reef is stuttering so bad it's unplayable.

Only temporary fix I've found is reinstalling graphics drivers. Tried both latest driver and downgraded 596.49 driver that's been recommended for players experiencing crashes. Both helped for exactly one day, until I restart or turn off my PC, then stuttering starts again. Switching DLSS and framegen on/off doesn't help, as well as forcing them on in nvidia app.
Verifying files didn't help.

My specs:
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
NVIDIA RTX4080
32GB RAM
Windows 11

I ran the test you suggested too now, here's what I got:

    • stuttering starts only after map loads up and immediately noticeable even in combat prep menu (capture points "cascading" effect is visibly choppy). Main menu seems to be running smooth
    • clearing NVIDIA shader cache didn't do anything
    • CPU usage is spiking heavily. GPU and VRAM looks fine, I'm attaching screenshots of ingame performance monitor with fresh driver, cleared cache and fresh driver after restarting PC
    • Driver reinstalling seems to be working regardless of it being clean install with DDU or simple reinstall without removing existing driver
    • I ran couple more games on other maps without reinstalling driver. Siege of Cairo ran mostly smooth with occasional hiccups in performance. Empire State was slightly worse, with stutters happening once in a minute or two. Don't know if it's tied to off-map water on Empire State or it's just a coincidence, but thought i'd include it just in case. Didn't run performance monitor on those, can do it if that info would be useful for trying to solve the issue

Here's screenshots of ingame performance monitor, all taken few seconds after loading into Tsuru reef map

    Hi Punnyo,

Sorry to hear the stuttering has become so severe on Tsuru Reef since the Season 4 update.

Thanks for including your system specifications and the troubleshooting you’ve already tried.

Since the issue is much worse on Tsuru Reef but only occasionally noticeable on older maps, could you please attach a DxDiag report and let us know:

    • Whether the stuttering starts immediately after launching the game following a PC restart
    • Whether your GPU, CPU, or VRAM usage changes noticeably when the stutter occurs
    • Whether clearing the NVIDIA shader cache has any effect

Please attach your DxDiag report as a .txt file rather than pasting the full report into your reply.

Hopefully, we can narrow down what is causing the stuttering and get you back to a smoother experience soon.
