Horrible lag spikes

As of the new update I am unable to play as a I will reach 2k ping and when it stabilizes, I am dead. I had no issues before the new update and if I connect to a discord call, I am unable to move at all. I am not sure if anyone else is having this issue, but this has killed my experience since there is a double exp event currently going on and I can't even play.
