How do you COMPLETELY unmap a controller so that I can use the recon drone?
I'm at the end of my rope here, guys. I run on a PC and I have a joystick and throttle HOTAS system hooked up for when I fly flight sims. I don't want to use it for BF6, I want strictly mouse and keyboard.
I have laboriously gone in and unmapped EVERY SINGLE controller keybind and axisbind in all six of the different screens that they exist. I have set every deadzone as high as they possibly go. I have scoured every menu I can find. I have no real issues playing the game. Haven't tried flying, but infantry, vehicles, gunners, transport heli passenger, no sweat, everything is cool. I even finally, with the deadzones, got it so it wasn't constantly flickering up controller button presses for the menu tooltips instead of key commands.
Except...I can't use the recon drone. As soon as I launch it, it just spins hopelessly around and there's not a **bleep** thing I can do to stop it. There is no control binding in the entire game for recon drone control that I can find. Nothing else is bound to a controller. Yet my recon drone is spinning like it's got a controller controlling it. HOW? And how do I get rid of it?
(And no, don't tell me "unplug your controller." Battlefields are the ONLY games that for whatever reason, DICE never sees fit to simply put in a switch to say "I want to use M+KB, ignore anything that's going on with my joystick/throttle/controller/whatever." Everybody else can somehow do this, but it has apparently been beyond DICE's capability for 10+ years. I'm not unplugging my HOTAS setup just to use one gadget in one game. That's garbage.)
