Issues Loading Into Matches on Xbox Series X

Hello All, I have just bought and downloaded BF6 to play with my mate, and we have noticed when searching for a Casual Breakthrough game, most of the time when the matchmaking finishes, it puts my mate into the game and just stops my matchmaking timer, keeping me at the main title screen.

When I then try and join my friends game, it puts me in an unending 1/1 queue.

Now sometimes it does work, and I load in fine, but I'd say 75% of the time, it fails. We have tried both of us as hosts but nothing seems to fix the issue. I'd love to verify my game files but there doesn't appear to be an option to do this on the Xbox Series X

Does anyone have any advice?
