Javelin Anticheat Error (7) 1503
I am having issues with the anticheat error. I have completed all of the standard troubleshooting provided by EA Support, but the issue persists.
Issue:
Battlefield 6 worked correctly until the June 13 update. Before the update my husband installed a new hard drive onto my computer and it worked until the update. Have recently installed newest update today, July 3rd and the issue persists. We also replaced the cmos battery because I was having secure boot issues.
Since that update, the game fails during loading with Javelin AntiCheat Error (7) 1503.
Troubleshooting completed:
- Reinstalled Javelin AntiCheat.
- Reinstalled the EA App.
- Updated Windows 11 to the latest version.
- updated GPU drivers.
- Cleared the EA App cache.
- Verified Secure Boot is enabled.
- Verified TPM 2.0 is enabled and healthy.
- Disabled Windows Hypervisor Platform for testing.
- Ran DISM and SFC (SFC reports no integrity violations).
- Uploaded a DxDiag report.
- Unistalled Battlefield 6 using Revo Uninstaller and reinstalled BF6
Diagnostic findings:
- Event Viewer consistently logs:
- Service Control Manager Event ID 7009
- Service Control Manager Event ID 7000
- Reliability Monitor reports that EA Javelin AntiCheat crashes, not just fails to start.
Crash details:
Faulting application:
C:\Program Files\EA\AC\eaanticheat.gameservice.exe
- Problem Event Name:
- BEX64
- Exception Code:
- c0000005
- Javelin version:
- 0.22470.0
- Windows:
- Windows 11 Version 25H2 OS Build 26200.8655
Because the anti-cheat executable is crashing, Windows subsequently reports that the anti-cheat service timed out Events 7009 and 7000.
Given that the issue began immediately after the June 13 update and persists after all recommended troubleshooting. I am absolutely at a loss of what to do next.
