Joystick support failure

Were closing in on 1 year since release and I still cannot get my joystick to bind or even be recognized by the game. I know that I am amongst many others in the same situation. Coming back to the game after months to see what's been done and it still cant recognize the controller. They've dropped all this new content and couldn't give a rats **bleep** to fix the joystick issues. I'm still not interested in using 3rd party software in order to get the joystick working.

So ea, what is your fix?
