I have a Ryzen 7 5800 and an AMD Radeon rx 6800xt with 32gb ram. I can play in portal no problem even with CPU 100% but in official servers I get latency variation and low fps icon with my ping being 43 and 107 fps and I'm moving like I'm lagging and in slow motion.
yeah i noticed that and then i noticed that the obs replay buffer was off and everything was working fine and when i turned it on thats when i was getting lag and cpu 100% it works fine now with it off. I still get a little lag but not as bad. Its just the official servers though. Portal works and plays smooth for me.
There is lag problem after latest update. I m with 9950x3d - 5080 and have messy lag ingame at the same time my ping is 39 and fps 190-220. Unplayable.
OBS is the issue i believe. My cpu usage is 80% without obs recording or having on the replay buffer. When its on cpu stays at 100% and then i start lagging and moving kind of in slow motion. obs current build is 32.0.2 if that matters.
