Latency and packet loss

Since yesterday I have been trying to understand why my game is so laggy due to high latency and packet loss. I had absolutely no problem during open BETA, game ran flawlessly. Now I cant engage any close quarter combat/map bcs it's literally unplayable, people are teleporting all around me, i cant move around or aim smoothly, everythingfeels like ♥♥♥♥. I read that more people are facing the same problem so if anyone has found out what's wrong pls let me know. Thanks in advance!

  • So I have also been trying everything, almost to a point where I was going to replace parts thinking it was time. The final thing I tried was going into someone's custom 64/64 Conquest match with 25ms. I had ZERO issues and it turns out it is on EA servers, maybe placing some people into servers that are far from them. Maybe a VPN change or something? Either way, your PC is good, server is poopy

  • I have huge packet loss issues, its not my network because no other online game does this happen, 9 ping constantly. It gets better throughout the match, and i think it gets worse when servers are very crowded

Ok so, i made a forum post about this myself. And i found a fix that at least worked for me. This is based on if you actually have really good internet or if your hardware is adequate for the game. I can't guarantee that this will fix it for everyone, because there are too many variables as to why this is happening. For instance the servers might just be crap.

But since this fix i have not had as many packet losses, my internet is top notch, and my computer is built well enough to be able to handle the game.

Go into your BIOS You'll need to overclock your RAM. I know this might be scary but something i was noticing was i would lag in the game when opening other applications too, and it would cause Packetlosses, rubberbanding, Glitching, Lag. So After overclocking the ram, it fixed my issue. Occasional lag spike due to servers is common, but it's not really noticeable after this.

I highly suggest anyone having this issue do this as it's a simple change and should make larger maps and the experience much smoother.

Here's the link to the vid i used to quick overclock my Ram. I hope this helps.
