License wasn’t gifted with the game

I’m having a licensing issue between EA and Xbox for Battlefield 6. The game was gifted to me through the Microsoft Store (Xbox platform). I’m able to download, uninstall, and reinstall the game without any problems, but when I try to launch it, I get an error saying EA can’t verify the game license.

I contacted Xbox Support first, and they confirmed everything looks fine on their end. They suggested I reach out to EA Support because the issue seems to be related to EA’s license verification system.

After speaking with EA Support, I was told this might be a bug involving gifted game licenses through the Microsoft Store. They said they’ve reported the issue to the EA game team for investigation and asked me to document the problem here in the forums.

So far, there’s no immediate solution — but I wanted to share this in case others are experiencing the same issue. Hopefully, this post helps EA identify and resolve it soon.
