Low FPS until I restart PC
Ever since sometime in early April, I get half of my usual FPS until I restart my PC. I usually have around 150fps, but if I exit the game and come back later, I get 50-60 fps and its unplayable. If I restart my PC, everything is fine until I exit the game again. I have a 7800x3d and 4080 Super. I dont have the PC lockup bug that some people are having with the x3d processors. Just a low FPS bug. Never had any issues before and no issues with any other game. So I know its not a hardware issue. Does anyone else experience this?
Hey TruBawla. I've seen a thread where a similar issue was caused by some software running in the background. The player found Razor/Razer Cortex was the cause, and uninstalling it stopped the issue.
If that fails:
- Toggle BF6 display mode once: Fullscreen to Borderless/Windowed, or the reverse.
- Check MSI Afterburner/NVIDIA tools for any abnormal power limit or debug-mode behavior
- Try a clean NVIDIA driver reinstall
- Make sure you have the latest Windows version
- Disable any other apps with overlays
