Memory Leak?

I just got the game a day ago and noticed a strange behavior with the Vram. At the overkill setting the Vram tool initially starts off around 9gb, but after several matches creeps up to 13-14gb or higher with a warning that I've exceeded my memory and my cpu may be downgraded. This is taking place even though I have a 4080 with 16gb. So is this a confirmed memory leak, if so are there any workarounds?
